
My name is Katie and I set up Grange VA Services from home in 2019 to allow myself to continue working, alongside having the flexibility to care for my young family. I have over 17 years of knowledge and experience working in administrative and support roles, including Receptionist, Senior Administrator, Finance Administrator, MIS Data Inputter, Office Manager & Travel Booking Coordinator.
My aim is to offer help and support to small businesses and individuals who need an extra pair of hands, but may not necessarily require the full time support of an employee. By offering a flexible support package, I can help business owners free up their valuable time and achieve a better work/life balance.
All tasks are performed remotely from my home office so I do not require any office space or equipment. Hours & services can vary depending on what is required. You only pay me for the working hours. No holiday pay, no sickness pay. Hours can be charged at an hourly rate for a continuous retainer contract or PAYG for ad hoc or project work.
Helping you to organise your inbox, archive, unsubscribe, categorise or respond on your behalf. Regular support to keep on top of your daily email overload.
Monitoring your diary to avoid clashes, booking appointments or meetings for your business or personal needs, whether that be person meetings, via Teams, Google Meet, Zoom etc.
Researching flights & hotels, booking travel or accommodation for business or personal use. Online check ins, API, download boarding passes. Preparing business travel itinerary with all the necessary information for your journey.
Typing, editing, proofreading documents. Making changes to PowerPoints or making notes from meeting discussion points.
Taking minutes or notes for online meetings. I can be there in person if required via video link or minutes can be taken from a video recording after the meeting has occurred.
Assisting with arranging interviews for new staff, collating CV's, shortlisting. Helping to prepare new starter paperwork, onboarding packs and ensuring digital personnel files are compliant.
Basic bookkeeping including receipt processing & reconciling, updating management systems, helping collate information for confirmation statements, filing invoices, collating ID or other required information.
I have a good knowledge of Microsoft packages and experience with a number of systems and apps including Slack, Capsule, DEXT, Hubdoc, Asana, Harvest, Bright Manager, Xero, Intelliflo, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Smart Search, Whatsapp, Canva, Facebook.
